As explained in the article, "the European new approach of personal data protection has been framed and realigned through the adoption of various legal bodies and in particular, by the approval in 2016 of the General Data Protection Regulation along with two related Directives. These last should have been transposed to our national legislation before May 2018. Nevertheless, no legislative texts have been issued to complete the Spanish trilogy on data protection. In this article, we are going to analyze the current status of the "issuing process" and to put forward the consequences triggered by the lack of transposition".
