Professional career

Alicia joins Baylos in 2018. Her previous professional experience includes the activities of Technical Consulting in the Spanish Brand Department, in PONS IP (Madrid), for more than a year and a half: filing of trademark applications, writing of defense briefs of Intellectual Property Rights, development of feasibility reports, as well as contact with foreign clients and correspondents. Previously she developed her training internship in Mainar & Solana - Plaza, Abogados, a multidisciplinary law firm in Zaragoza.
Her professional practice focuses on the advice and prosecution of trademarks at national, European, and international level, which includes investigations on former trademark registrations and feasibility reports, drafting and filing of applications with the relevant Trademark Offices, as well as defending applications from office actions and third-party objections, and once the application process is completed, the maintenance and monitoring of the registrations. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law at University of Zaragoza (2015). Final Degree Project on "Protection of the Industrial Design in the fashion sector: peculiarities".
  • Master's Degree in Industrial Property, Intellectual Property, Competition and New Technologies at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid (2015-2016).
  • Digital Law Course at Villanueva University Center in Madrid (2016).
