Juan Luis Gracia
Juan Luis is partner of BAYLOS. Prior to this he has been founding partner of FJF Legal and partner of SALVADOR FERRANDIS IP LEGAL and DEL VALLE ABOGADOS. He is a lawyer and authorized representative before the EUIPO for trademarks and designs in the European Union. Among his activities the following are worth highlighting: strategic advice both to national and international clients on all aspects related to Intellectual Property, Unfair Competition and New Technologies, regarding multiple sectors among which the following are worth highlighting: entertainment, sports and gymnastics equipment, fashion, perfumery and cosmetics, food and beverages, bank, technological platforms, telecommunications, artificial intelligence and new technologies, transports and associated software, biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector, health services, car industry, tobacco and emerging products, consumer goods and health care products. As lawyer specializing in these matters, he has participated in important both national and cross-border lawsuits which have aroused a great deal of interest in specialized national press, and he has lead the strategy and defense of cases before the European Union Courts. In addition to this, he manages important Intellectual Property rights' portfolios in the whole world and he specializes in registration and defense strategies of these rights. His professional activity also includes consultancy on contracts and pre-lawsuit matters, and more specifically in licensing, distribution, franchising and agencies and similar issues.

From 2014 until 2017 he has been member of the INTA (International Trademark Association) Enforcement Committee and in 2018-2019 he has been appointed for the LAW FIRM COMMITTEE. In addition to this, he also works in the TASK FORCE on BAD FAITH of the aforementioned organization.
He has published in Intellectual Property Journals and Summaries and is coauthor in books such as "ICT LAW Information and Communication Technology Law" (Tirant Le Blanch edition).
Lecturer in the Master's Degree on Intellectual Property Rights and New Technologies at the University of Alicante (Magister Lvcentinvs). In addition to this, he has been invited as speaker to both national and international conferences, as well as to many seminars on this matter. His last presentation was within the INTA's Annual Congress 2018 in Seattle with the title "Dancing with Bad Faith".
He has given courses and conferences both on a national and on an international level before public and private institutions, as well as before professional associations.
