Sonia is a Spanish Patent and Trademark Attorney since 2007 and a registered professional representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
She is a specialist in Trade Marks, Designs and Patents, providing advice and managing the Intellectual Property portfolios of national and international companies across a number of commercial and industrial sectors, including technology, energy, biotechnology, aeronautics, fashion and telecommunications.
She has wide experience of working in Intellectual Property and extensive knowledge of the legislation and procedures involved in processing all kinds of Intellectual Property Rights at national, European and international level, either directly with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), plus at international level via a strong and well-qualified worldwide network of correspondents.
Her professional practice focuses on advice, planning, processing and coordinating Intellectual Property Rights, planning protection and internationalisation strategies depending on the client's needs and the target markets for Spanish Trademarks, European Union Trademarks, International Trademarks, applications for International Patents (PCT), European and national patents, Utility Models and Designs (national and European), plus patent validations with national Offices.
