The Royal Warrant is a royal warrant as a supplier to the British Royal Household which until now had been granted by HM The Queen and (the previous) HRH The Prince of Wales. This authorization allows a company that provides goods or services to the Royal Household to display the Royal Crest on, or in connection with, its products or services, but it is important to clarify that they are not granted to professional services such as banking or law firms, or publications such as newspapers, etc. Warrants are reviewed every five years and, to apply a company must have supplied products or services on a regular basis to the Royal Household of the grantor for at least five of the last seven years.
The Royal Warrants granted by "Her Majesty The Queen" became void immediately upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II. However, holders of Royal Warrants may continue to use the Royal Arms in connection with their business until two years after the date of the Queen's death. It is also possible to reapply for the warrant and wait for the new monarch to accept it. In addition, the authorizations granted by the Prince of Wales should be reviewed and it should be determined whether they should be updated according to his new title. It is unclear how this will proceed.
