In order to fight against segmented information and comply with the provisions of the Data Services Act (DSA), Meta allows on its social networks, Facebook and Instagram, to deactivate the algorithmic feed. Thus, posts, reels or stories can be viewed in chronological order, and not based on the algorithm developed by Meta.
This opt-out function will only be possible in Europe, as Meta is reluctant to implement it in the rest of the world for the time being.
