2.    What data do we collect and for what purposes? For how long do we store your personal data?

BAYLOS will collect different data depending on the functionalities of the website you use or the purpose for which you interact with us through our website or third party websites we use to provide our services.

THROUGH OUR CONTACT INFORMATION

Data: when you contact us we will collect the identification and contact data (name and surname, telephone, e-mail) that you facilitate us through our contact details.

Purpose: to manage the query for which you contact us.

Lawfulness of processing: the data subject’s consent (art. 6.1.a) GDPR).

Storage period: the data is not stored once the query has been dealt with.

BROWSING

Data: we automatically collect and process information, including the following personal data, about how you access and use the website every time you log on:

-Technical information including your IP address, login data, your browser and its version and the operating system of the device you are using.

WORK WITH US

Data: we will collect the data about your identity, education/training and work experience with which you provide us through the email address nicetomeetyou@baylos.com

Purpose: to manage your job application.

Lawfulness of processing: performance of a contract or precontract (art. 6.1.b) GDPR).

Storage period: we will keep your data for the time required to manage the recruitment process (up to a maximum of one (1) year).

NEWSLETTER

Data: we will collect the e-mail address you provide when you subscribe to the Newsletter through the form available on the website.

We may also send you Newsletter if we have met at an event and you have provided us with your professional contact information.

Purpose: sending the Newsletter.

Lawfulness of processing: when you subscribe through our website, we will rely on your consent to this service (art. 6.1.a) RGPD). When we have obtained your email address in other professional situation we will rely on our legitimate interest (art.6.1.f) RGPD).

Storage period: your data will be stored until you express your wish not to receive communications. 

EVENTS

Data: when you register for an event organized by BAYLOS we will collect your name, surname, email, your job position and the name of the company you work for, through the corresponding form.

Purpose: to manage your participation in the event and send you communications about the latest news in the industry. (newsletter).

Lawfulness of processing: data subject consent (art. 6.1.a) RGPD), for the management of the attendance to the event, BAYLOS´s legitimate interest (art. 6.1.d) RGPD), in sending communications.

Storage period: your data will be stored until you express your desire to stop receiving communications.

3.    Assignment of data

Except in response to an explicit judicial request or requirement from the law enforcement authorities, BAYLOS will not disclose or assign the data with which you provide us without your express written consent unless we have a legitimate interest or there is a legal obligation to do so.

You are also informed that, in order to conduct its commercial activity, BAYLOS may reach agreements with third-party natural or legal persons who may have access to your data to provide services. In these cases, we will enter into the appropriate processing order contract that stipulates how the assignee must handle and protect your data of a personal nature and establishes the associated duty of confidentiality.

4.    Data transfers to third countries

As the data controller, BAYLOS hereby informs you that it has no intention of assigning your personal data to entities in countries outside the European Union. However, we cannot guarantee that certain storage and processing activities will not be carried out by natural or legal persons located outside the European Union.

Nevertheless, if any processing is performed by natural and/or legal persons located in third countries, BAYLOS will take all the required measures to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. BAYLOS will not transfer your personal data to any organisation or country outside the European Union unless there are adequate levels of protection or sufficient guarantees are provided and the data subject's enforceable rights and effective legal remedies are recognised.

5.    Your rights

As the data subject, you are explicitly entitled to exercise the following rights over your data of a personal nature: access, rectification of erroneous data, erasure (the right to be forgotten), objection to and restriction of processing, and portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting BAYLOS through the postal address in the header to this notice or at the following email address: info@baylos.com indicating “EXERCISE OF RIGHTS” in the subject line.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to storage and processing of your data at any time. Cancelling your consent will not affect the legality of processing performed prior to said withdrawal.

You can also revoke your consent to receiving commercial notices at any time by sending a request to that effect to the email address info@baylos.com or by following the “unsubscribe” link we provide in every commercial notice we send you.

Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) in Spain if you feel that BAYLOS 5.0 LEGAL ADVISORS S.L. is failing to comply with its legal obligations regarding protection of your data of a personal nature.

Our main mission is to ensure that the processing to which your personal data and associated information is subjected safeguards their custody and integrity. Therefore, BAYLOS 5.0 LEGAL ADVISORS S.L. has adopted all the required technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of the data for which it is responsible and prevent its unauthorised alteration, loss, processing or access.
