PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
Margarita Calvo has been an associate at Baylos since 2023. She previously worked at Arochi & Lindner as an associate and paralegal and has six years of experience in intellectual property.
Her professional practice includes the management of large portfolios of well-known trademarks at national and international level, defense, and opposition briefs of trademarks in proceedings before the SPTO and the EUIPO, pre-litigation advice, drafting of feasibility reports, drafting letters of formal notice, negotiation, and coexistence agreements.
In addition, she has extensive experience in intermediation with agents at international level in matters of counterfeit products and in the management of customs intervention proceedings. In the area of data protection, she has collaborated in processes of implementation and adaptation to current regulations.
