PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
Ana Padial has been a partner at BAYLOS since 2023. Previously, she has been, for twelve years, partner and head of the Litigation Department of the Spanish office of Arochi & Lindner, and, previously, partner of Pinto Ruiz & del Valle.
Since 1998, Ana has focused her practice on advising and designing strategies in industrial property matters in all types of pre-judicial and judicial disputes in contentious-administrative, civil and criminal proceedings regarding trademarks, copyrights, patents, industrial models, advertising and unfair competition before the different courts. She has led the legal direction of proceedings in these matters for top companies in sectors such as fashion, food, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, automotive, entertainment and financial services, among others. Since 2006 she has been the attorney representing in Spain the trademarks of one of the world's five largest multinationals in the food sector.
Ana is a certified industrial property agent and a representative authorized before the SPTO and the EUIPO, offices before which she represents and coordinates strategies for the registration and defence of patent and trademark rights as well as the management of portfolios of industrial property rights of world-renowned companies.
EDUCATION:
Bacherlor’s degree in Law from the Navarra University, Spain (1996).
Practicing attorney since 1997.
Master’s in industrial and Intellectual Property from the University of Alicante (Magister Lvcentinvs) (2000).
RECOGNITIONS:
Recognized in the directory Best Lawyers in the following three categories: "Litigation", "Industrial and Intellectual Property" and "Advertising Law", being named "Lawyer of the Year 2021" in the latter category. Also recognized in other international rankings such as WTR 1000 and Leaders League.

Ana has been a lecturer in the Master of Law at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) and at the Universidad Abat Oliva de Barcelona, where she has been a member of the tribunal in the presentation of the TFM (Master's Thesis) in Law and has published several articles in specialized magazines and in the press on industrial property matters.
