PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
Since she joined Baylos in 2019, Mª Elena Juan Serna has acquired extensive experience in providing comprehensive consultancy services to companies regarding Trade Marks, Designs, Copyright and Unfair Competition. as well as Data Protection and New Technology Rights.
Our colleague has developed a deep understanding of legal and procedural practice through her work with and involvement in legal proceedings before the Spanish Courts in Industrial and Intellectual Property, as well as Unfair Competition matters, in administrative, civil and criminal disputes.
She has also actively worked with the other departments to protect intangible assets during their processing phase, by acting before the Trade Mark Offices. She also provides advice on the drafting of contracts and assists in negotiations.
Before this, she spent four years working for various multinationals in the luxury cosmetics, selective distribution and retail sectors, which has given her a cross-cutting view of the importance of legal protection in order for business to correctly operate and develop.
EDUCATION:
Master’s in Intellectual and Industrial Property (Magister Lvcentinvs) from the University of Alicante (2018).
Advanced Programme in Strategic Innovation in sales, companies and marketing management at Fundeseum Business School (2016).
Bachelor’s degree in Law and Company Administration from the University of Alicante (2014).
