Sergio Tejedo

PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

Sergio Tejedo joined BAYLOS in 2022. He has previously worked in the Courts of First Instance of Castellón, and more recently he worked at PONS IP (Madrid).

He has experience in prosecuting trade marks either directly before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the World Intellectual Property Office, or internationally through the network of foreign partners. He has in-depth knowledge of national, European and international legislation regarding Industrial and Intellectual Property.

His experience is based on prosecuting trade marks, as well as drafting trade mark defence, opposition and invalidity documents, coexistence agreements and monitoring industrial property rights.

His professional practise currently focuses on the prosecution and monitoring of Trade Marks and Designs before the SPTO, EUIPO and WIPO, as well as prosecuting same in foreign countries through the network of partners of the firm.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Jaume I University of Castellón (2013-2017).

  • Erasmus programme at the University of Salford, Greater Manchester (2015-2016).

  • Master’s in Industrial and Intellectual Property, Competition and New Technologies from the Rey Juan Carlos University and PONS Business School (2017-2018).

  • Master’s in Law and Legal Practice from the International University of Valencia (2017-2019).

RECOGNITIONS / ASSOCIATIONS:

  • Lawyer of the Madrid Bar Association.
